Byzantine bronze buckle
Date: 7-8 century
Central & Eastern Europe, Aegean, Mediterranean, Black Sea.

Oval-shaped loop and the plate are cast as block. Plate is decorated with opposed volutes . Two perforated lugs at the rear. Intact.
Length 1.6" (4.0 cm).
