K6 vintage phonebox TELEPHONE lettering vinyl sticker replacemnt refurb BT for the transom windows. The listing is for a set of FOUR stickers “TELEPHONE”

If you need less than 4 - please check out my other listing where I sell them singularly. X1

This is an alternative way to refresh or replace the old lettering on K6 phone boxes. I designed these when renovating our village phone box over the summer. Replacement panels were just too expensive. And hand painting the lettering would have taken hours on all 4 sides.

You can see from the photos the sizing is a near perfect match. It’s not exact as the letting doesn’t exist as an official font that can be “typed” so I’ve created this image and then created the vinyl lettering.

I recommend you degrease the outside of the glass pane. Then cut the backing paper into sections. Align the lettering on the top edge with masking tape then remove the backing paper and apply two letters at a time. I’ve tried to show this in the photos of the listing. Use an old store card to help smooth the lettering and get proper adhesion to the glass.

As this is applied to the outside of the glass, it’s fully removable and doesn’t damage the original finish of the glass panels. Our village phone box panels have an old frosted finish on the inside of them which comes away easily if wiped or touched so we didn’t want to damage it any further.

This is UV stable outdoor waterproof self adhesive vinyl
