A memorable medal dedicated to one of the oldest institutions of higher education in Ukraine - the Uman National Horticultural University. Educational origins of the university originate in 1844, when the Main School of Horticulture was founded in Odessa, which was later transferred to Uman, to the area of traditional gardening. The task of the school was to train highly qualified gardeners and experienced gardeners. Today it is a well-known agrarian educational establishment with rich traditions, a unique history, a powerful educational and research and production complex with a wide range of interesting and popular labor market specialties.
On the obverse of the medal there is a small State Emblem of Ukraine on the mirror background, under which the inscriptions: UKRAINE 2019; in the center there is a university building, on the background of which there is a mirror student apricot (right) and plant images (left); in a circle on a matte background, the inscriptions: UMAN NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF SANITATION; Bottom on a mirror background - 175 / YEARS. The logo of the Banknote-Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine (in the upper right of the building).
On the reverse of the medal there is a stylized composition that symbolizes the gardener's art, which grows with love the garden: in the foreground on a matte background - a hand that throws seeds in the ground, on a mirror background - flowers and tree with fruit.
