I've been a life-long spurs fan and my earliest memory as a kid was the '91' Fa cup extra time win against Forrest (Gazza's final game for us). I've been collecting everything spurs since then but now it's time to let go of some of my collection to genuine spurs fans like you!
I have for sale an Official (I only sell genuine) Rare Vintage Original Hummel Tottenham 88-91 Adult's XL Away shirt. ''The Paul Gascoigne and Gary Linekar Era''
In this era, it was standard for English clubs to use a shirt for two seasons as opposed to the now standard one season and for this shirt it was actually used for three seasons. Hummel had produced our kit form the 85/86 season and this was the third and final away shirt produced by them. The shirt's main colour is a vibrant Yellow and the accents are provided in navy-blue in the shirt's logos and sponsors as well as the collar. Their iconic 'Bee' logo and company name is printed in beautiful navy blue raised felt on the left chest of the shirt and their classic chevrons our again in beautiful navy blue felt on both of the short sleeves (see item photos). The club in our history has used many crest designs and this is the one I remember as a kid with the two lions and the famous cockerel above our iconic ''Audere-Est-Facere' (To Dare Is To Do) and is printed onto the chest in a felt like material (I'm not sure of to be honest, see item photos). 'HOLSTEN' was the clubs sponsor from the 83/84 season to the 94/95 season and their name is printed in a clever 3d looking design again in lovely navy blue raised felt centrally on the shirt (see item photos). The shirt features a beautiful stitched 'Hummel' design to the front and rear which i hope can be seen in the item photos. The shirt features a classic 'V' neck collar consisting of both yellow and navy-blue stripes. The shirt features an era Hummel tag in the collar for authenticity as the modern remakes look totally different (see item photos)
The condition of the shirt is truly very good with a lovely bright vibrant yellow colour. All felt logo and sponsors printing is in great shape as is the shirt's stitching. There is the odd pull/snag and minor bobbling on the front of the shirt but is to be expected with a shirt 33 years of age.
Whether you're watching a game at the new Tottenham stadium, watching the game down the pub or just putting on a shirt to watch the game at home you'll look the part in this classic shirt. A must have shirt if you are a 'Gazza' fan or collector.
The shirt will be dispatched within two working days of cleared payment (usually 1) via Evri (Hermes) one day delivery service. Please be aware that the shirt will need to be signed for on arrival as this is a stipulation, I have set with the delivery service. The shirt will be professionally packaged by me as standard as part of my service.
