RARE ANTIQUE ART DECO HIGH QUALITY CHROME PLATED BRASS SOAP CADDY

Circa 1920s

This is a GENUINE original vintage chrome plated brass bath caddy, with a Two-Tier design to separate items. 

Heavyweight construction (weighs over 1kg) 

The caddy is designed to be mounted to a wall and to hold a bar of soap/sponge or other consumables in the basket. The main basket can be easily removed from its bracket to the purpose of cleaning. 

The lower larger basket section can also be adjusted in angle from 90 degrees to 45 degrees.

The entire structure of this excellent piece has been manufactured to a very high standard indeed it is a superior quality example of its type, and not to be confused with inferior quality mass manufactured examples of more recent times! 

I imagine it spent most of its life in a rather Grand House.

CONDITION: Caddy is in as-found vintage used condition, there is around 90+ years of wear from regular use on this piece and whilst our workshops have given it a good clean, it would look even better with some careful attention to a more thorough polish.

This is a rare high quality antique bathroom accessory, I have seen much inferior examples offered for triple the money I am asking for this, it just needs to find a good new home where it will be appreciated!
