The Wand

The wood for this wand came from a fallen branch I found in Dorset while hiking on a hill with the remains of an iron age hill fort. I gathered some of the wood for wands, and other tools.

I carved the end into a point and sanded the wood smooth, leaving the greyish bark on the handle and pyrographing the ogham symbol for Rowan on its end and a spiral on its side. Finally it was been treated with local beeswax polish.

It's about 11.5 inches/29.5 cm from end to end and comes with a free bag made from upcycled fabric.

You will receive the wand pictured - all my wands are unique.

Rowan

The Rowan Tree, is perhaps one of the most beloved trees of Pagans and Witches. It is a tree associated with protection, especially when traveling (through this world or others) and with the fey. It is a tree of life force, potential and magic.

Greenwoman Crafts

Greenwoman Crafts is a small Pagan craft business run by a practicing witch of many years' experience. I try to source my materials ethically and sustainably. Wood for most of the items comes from my land and that of my friends and family. I collect deadfall - gifts from the trees and prunings for my work.

I make every attempt to reuse and recycle where-ever possible, and this includes my packaging materials (alas this is not always possible), I encourage our customers to continue to do so!

All items are new and unused, I prefer not to energetically charge magical items, leaving that for their new owners to do. All items are crafted with joy and love.
