This is a truly unique Vintage 1950's dress. There is no maker label only a paper tag. It is made of bold, true red, medium weight cotton fabric. It features short dolman cut sleeves, a fitted wasp waistline with original matching belt, and flattering princess seaming that runs down into V shaped piping with tiny bow ties. It has a high mock neckline that is finished with cabochon rhinestones and dangling mother of pearl paillettes. The sweep is ultra-full and can accommodate your fullest crinoline (not included). It has so much amazing movement! It is beautifully constructed and finished with a metal back zipper closure.
• No labeled size- There is no stretch, Vintage sizes are not equal to modern sizes! Please use the measurements for an accurate fit.
• Measures: 36" Bust, 25" waist, full hips, 43 1/2" long shoulder to hem, 146" circumference sweep.
• Very Good wearable condition with some cosmetic flaws. She has excellent seam and fabric integrity and wears and present beautifully. There are some marks on the sweep that look like dirt smudges from age and storage, and one larger mark on the left hip area, there is some light pulling at the waist seams, but they are still very strong - I tried to include a picture of each area, please see photo. I have not tried to remove any of the marks.
