40th anniversary of the proclamation of the Hungarian Soviet Republic.
The Hungarian Soviet Republic (Magyarországi Tanácsköztársaság, literally the Republic of Councils in Hungary) was a short-lived (133 days) small communist rump state. It was the second communist state, the first being that in Russia. It's de-facto leader was Béla Kun (Cohen), and during its Red Terror thousands died. Kun was later murdered by Stalin.
