3D printed two part interlocking split collar that fits the steering column perfectly (old original ones break or crack)

Brass contact collar is CNC machined and once slipped over the sleeve locks into position.

Original brass collars have slots to allow the fingers to expand to lock into position, these aren’t required on this design and works perfectly.

Assembly works as a direct replacement of the original which is likely to be missing a part or broken in some way?
