Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this delightful Aurora 888 Il Viaggio Segreto In Italia Matera Limited Edition Fountain Pen, which comes with its large Aurora presentation box (including outers), bottle of ink and stamped information booklet. The pen has barely been used and is presented in wonderful condition. Only 888 were produced and this is number 418.
From a series of pens that highlight great hidden secrets in the most special towns of Italy. This was the first pen in a series of 8 and it highlights Matera. The city if known for the famous Sassi stones, but unknown to most is the underground water source known as "Palombaro Lungo". Dug by hand, it is a true hidden gem and marvel.
The pen is fitted with an 18k fine nib and it's a piston filler, so bottled ink is your choice here.
