A bit of a mystery coin here. This is a 1922 George V bronze penny, very sharply struck with reflective surfaces. The obverse is particularly attractive. Darkish chocolate tone with hints of mint lustre around the rim. The obverse is an original effigy bust with a toothed border. The reverse has a beaded border. Britannia's hand and trident is clearly NOT the 1927 reverse (S.4054A). No proof is listed as far as I am aware but there is a "Specimen" listed in Spink under S.4051. The right hand prong of the trident is flattened and shortened where it meets the rim beads, unlike either of the 1922 reverses but similar to the 1926 reverse.
