Original Bound Volume TIME Magazine October-December 1937 - Rare time capsule!
Three months' worth of fabulous TIME magazines from 1938, bound in one volume.
A special feature of this volume is the inclusion of a facsimile of the first issue of TIME, to mark the 15th anniversary of the magazine's beginning.
Unlike many vintage magazines, old TIME magazines are not available anywhere online except via the $ubscription-only "Vault" on the TIME website, and even then they are not available in their original appearance (i.e. as actual page scans) but only as dreary modern online text, and with NONE of the original advertising. So the only way you can truly enjoy these magazines is by getting hold of the originals.Full of interesting articles and period advertising.
Condition: Ex library, has library stamps. Front and back magazine covers are missing. Somewhat tightly-bound, but all text is readable - best read flat on a tabletop. In excellent condition for age - see all 132 photos below, which form part of the description, and give a taste of what's between the covers.
