Original and very rare 1978 Virgin Records promo poster for PIL’s first single ‘The Public Image’ which is an absolute classic track..

This genuine 1978 poster is in nice condition overall with some minor age-related creasing, original folds, and a small section missing at bottom right hand corner - as can be seen in the pictures, and it does look absolutely stunning now that I have had it professionally framed.

An extremely rare piece of Punk memorabilia, and a classic piece of John Lydon’s early PIL Promotional artwork.

Poster size is approx 38 ½” inches X 28 ½” inches

A large heavy item with an overall size of approx. 40” x 30” inches.

Iconic early Pistols & PIL posters such as this 'A product of your society' or the torn-up Union jack of Anarchy or the Queen with a safety pin through her lip will always be classics. 

These original posters are now rightly seen as important statements of the time and have lost none of their relevance especially in today’s political climate.
