Antique Oak Picture Frame
American picture frame, made of carved oak.
Mitered corners, stained oaken wood.

Circa 1912 frame for a 10" x 12" picture or photograph.
Made in the period of the Arts & Crafts movement in America.

It still frames the 1912 print placed there by the original owner, over 100 years ago.
The print, which is marked copyright 1912 by C. E. Perry, is after a painting showing a country cottage in Springtime, with swimming ducks , a barn under flowering trees , etc. ( the painter's signature is at the lower corner of the print, but I can't quite make it out without removing the print from the frame ).
