Up for sale is this incredible antique Japanese Imari porcelain barber shaving basin bowl plate dating to the 17th or 18th Century. This is one of the finest examples I have ever seen!

It has amazing detail including two phoenixes on the upper sides with long flowing feathers and a large ikebana porcelain vase in center with a bouquet of peony flowers with thin wavy leaves.

The sides also have pretty flowers and foliage separated in distinct alternating sections, some in blue and the others with a white ground.

The back of the basin bowl has pretty plum blossoms in three sections.

This is a rare Japanese antique treasure and it is in absolutely STUNNING condition with no cracks, chips, hairlines, or even a frit! It literally is pristine and looks pretty much perfect - so hard to find in this kind of condition!!!

You will not come across another one of this quality and unique Phoenix detail, probably in this lifetime! It is a true treasure!

Measures 10.6” inches in diameter and 2.1” inches tall (26.9 cm, 5.3 cm).

Would make a fantastic display piece, fine addition to a collection, or a great gift!
