DESCRIPTION:  "DAMASCUS BOTTLING / WORKS. / DAMASCUS, VA."  This is a RARE slug plate soda bottle from Southwest Virginia. Greenish blue glass. This variety has only the word "DAMASCUS BOTTLING" embossed on the top arch of the slug plate. Measures approx. 7-3/4" high.  One side of base embossed "REGISTERED / THIS BOTTLE NOT TO BE SOLD".  Underside is plain.  A great addition to your Virginia soda bottle collection!   

CONDITION DETAILS:  VERY GOOD to NEAR MINT.  This bottle is one of two different varieties that we are listing at auction. Both are about as clean and damage free as you will find--they probably came from the bottling plant when it closed its doors.  Very light surface wear / case wear with no chips, cracks, dings, fisheyes, bruises or other damage.
