Is Freja Bone Broth organic?

Organic certification is not common in Norway (where we produce Freja) because they expect all produce to be of the highest quality with minimal intervention. In Norway, the smaller scale co-operative farms, expansive pastures and colder climate make prime conditions for healthy, well cared for animals. Norway has the lowest use of antibiotics in farm animals in Europe – 10 x lower than the UK average and 2.5 x lower than the Organic average. Our beef is grass-fed, our chickens are raised without antibiotics, and no hormones or GMO feeds are used.

How can I use Freja Bone Broth?

Drinking bone broth is the most common way to enjoy this nutritious beverage, but there are plenty of other options to help get in your daily dose. We believe it is best enjoyed simply warmed and sipped from a mug, but it can be used as a hero ingredient to enhance any dish. You can add it to soup, or mix it into risottos and stews. It can be taken between meals to fill a hunger gap or instead of tea and coffee as a caffeine free alternative. You can even add it to smoothies for a natural protein packed boost.

Water, bones from white fish*, onion, carrot, leek, fennel, salt, thyme, bay leaf and white pepper. *made from responsibly sourced Norwegian fish (hormone and GMO-free)

Cooking & Storage

Store unopened at room temperature for up to 24 months. For best-before end date see lid.

Once opened, refrigerate and consume within 4 days, or freeze in a container for up to 6 months. For best results, warm gently in a pan, sip slowly and enjoy.

Shipping

Most orders are with you within 1-3 working days.

We aim to dispatch all other orders within 1-2 working day of receiving cleared funds (Monday to Friday). We occasionally list products which are special order items and therefore dispatch time will be slightly longer, if this is the case then we will contact you to advise of the expected delivery date.

An express delivery option is available on selected items. If your order is placed before 1 pm (Monday to Friday) and is in stock, items will be sent the same day and delivered within 2 working days (for some out of areas postcodes, deliveries might take slightly longer).

PLEASE NOTE: All deliveries are made by courier and will require a signature. Please ensure someone is present to sign for the item. Should the item be returned to us we will have to charge for re-delivery.

We run an automated ordering system so please ensure your correct shipping address is selected on the PayPal / eBay checkout as we can only send to the address that comes through. This is an eBay policy.

For orders cancelled after despatch, you must follow our returns procedure. You are responsible for both the outgoing and return postage costs.

Orders Delayed/Missing in Transit

We promise we'll do everything we can to ensure you receive your order within the time-frame specified. Occasionally events beyond our control may result in your parcel being delayed whilst it is with the courier and we cannot be held responsible for such delays.

All parcels are fully insured and if your parcel is lost or delayed, let us know and we'll act quickly to locate it, bearing in mind the points below. All claims for missing items must be made within 24hours of the date you receive the order.

What do I do if I have not received my delivery?

Please call us or send a message via eBay messages and we'll get back to you quickly with a response and tracking information.

What happens if I'm not at home to accept delivery?

If you are not available to sign for your delivery, the courier will leave a card to advise that delivery has been attempted. To re-arrange delivery or arrange to collect the parcel, please follow the instructions on the card.

Buyers need to accept and follow our rules and policies before they can bid on or buy and item. This helps ensure a smoother, more enjoyable transaction for both buyers and sellers.

Returns

IMPORTANT: PLEASE SEND RETURNED GOODS VIA RECORDED DELIVERY ONLY.

If goods are not sent back to us by recorded delivery and/or in case the goods are lost or not received, we cannot be held responsible for any loss sustained.

For faulty items, we will either replace the product with the same or offer a refund should the product no longer be available.

Non-Faulty Goods

If you change your mind about your purchase you may return it to us unopened at your own expense within 28 days of receipt for a full refund or store credit; after 28 days we do not accept returns. We do not accept returns for non-faulty unwanted items in any circumstance if they have been opened/unsealed. No returns? authorization code is required but ensure the item is packaged securely and the returns form is included. Please send the item back via Recorded Delivery - if goods are not sent back to us by recorded delivery and/or in case the goods are lost or not received, we cannot be held responsible for any loss sustained.

Incorrect Item Returns

If we shipped you the wrong product you may return the product to us unopened within 28 days of receipt for a full refund (or the correct product if applicable). No authorization code is required but ensure the item is packaged securely and the returns form is included.
