I PURCHASED ABOUT 20 OF THESE FROM A FORMER CAR DEALERSHIP AT A RECENT AUCTION OF HIS MASSIVE COLLECTION.  MOST WAS GM / CHEVROLET, BUT I DID GET THESE OLDS HURST BROCHURES.   

I WILL BE LISTING QUITE A FEW, VINTAGE, NEW OLD STOCK, CHEVROLET BROCHURES OVER THE NEXT WEEK OR SO. SO STAY TUNED.  

REGARDING SHIPPING:  MOST BROCHURES THAT I PURCHASED ARE A STANDARD SHEET OF PAPER SIZE 8 X 11.  IF SO, YOUR BROCHURE WILL BE INSERTED INTO A CLEAR ACID FREE PLASTIC SLEEVE, THEN THAT PLASTIC SLEEVE WILL BE SANDWICHED BETWEEN 2 SHEETS OF SMOOTH 2MM THICK PIECES OF CARDBOARD AND SECURED WITH BLUE PAINTERS TAPE WHICH WILL CONTACT THE PLASTIC SLEEVE ONLY.  THAT CARDBOARD SANDWICH WILL THEN BE PUT INSIDE OF A BUBBLE MAILER,  THAT IS WATER RESISTANT AND THAT BUBBLE MAILER WILL HAVE DO NOT BEND STICKERS ON BOTH SIDES.  THE CARDBOARD SANDWICH WILL BE SECURED WITH BLUE PAINTERS TAPE ON THE CLEAR SLEEVE AND ON THE OUTSIDE AS WELL.  PAINTERS TAPE IS DESIGNED TO BE PEELED OFF.  DO NOT CUT THE CARDBOARD SANDWICH OPEN, AS THE BROCHURE WILL BE VERY CLOSE TO THE EDGE AND COULD BE DAMAGED BY A RAZOR BLADE ETC.  JUST PEEL THE TAPE OFF AS INTENDED.  ALSO, THE BROCHURE STICKS OUT OF THE CLEAR SLEEVE BY A HAIR AT THE TOP, SO I CAN'T TAPE THE TOP OF THE SLEEVE.  SO, WHEN YOU OPEN IT, OPEN IT ON A FLAT SURFACE, NOT STANDING UP.  WHEN YOU RELEASE THE PRESSURE OF THE CARDBOARD SANDWICH, THE BROCHURE CAN SLIDE OUT AND HIT HE FLOOR, POTENTIALLY BENDING AN EDGE.  I TELL YOU ALL OF THIS FOR TWO REASONS:  FIRST, SO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH EFFORT I MAKE AND EXPENSE I GO TO, IN ORDER TO SAFELY GET YOU YOUR ITEM.  TWO, SO THAT YOU DON'T CONTACT ME TELLING ME TO PACK CAREFULLY.  THREE:  SO THAT YOU DON'T CONTACT ME WITH OFFERS NOW THAT YOU RECOGNIZE THAT I'M PAYING FOR THE SHIPPING, I'M PAYING FOR THE PACKING MATERIAL AND OF COURSE, I HAVE TO PAY ANOUT 25% IN VARIOUS EBAY SELLERS FEES PER $20 BROCHURE.  IN FACT, BY MY CALCULATIONS, I'M PAYING NEARLY $4 OR $5 PER PACKAGE IN PACKING MATERIALS ALONE, PLUS APPROXIMATELY $5 IN FIRST CLASS SHIPPING AND THEN ANOTHER $5 IN EBAYS FEES ON A $20 SALE.  SO, ESSENTIALLY, FOR EVERY $20 (ON AVERAGE) BROCHURE THAT I SELL, I END UP WITH ABOUT $5 NET.  CONSIDERING THAT I SPENT ABOUT $5500 ON THE BROCHURES THAT I'LL BE LISTING, IT WILL BE QUITE SOME TIME BEFORE I EVEN BREAK EVEN.  THE PROFIT WILL BE YEARS FROM NOW.  SO DON'T BE A BOTTOM FEEDER OR A CHEAPSKATE AND ASK ME TO SHARPEN MY PENCIL, OR ASK ME WHAT MY BEST PRICE IS, OR LEAST AMOUNT THAT I WILL TAKE.  I'M PUTTING A  DISCOUNT ON ANY ADDITIONAL BROCHURES THAT YOU BUY, JUST BECAUSE THATS ABOUT WHAT I'LL SPEND IN PACKING MATERIAL IF I SHIPPED THEM INDIVIDUALLY.
