This test strip is ideal to check free chlorine levels in water at a low level, which makes them ideal to test tap/drinking water. It can be used to check that the correct amount of sanitiser is present by testing for very low levels of free chlorine in solution from 0 – 5 ppm (mg/l).

Suitable for: fresh water samples, including water from taps, wells, springs as well as food processing environments

Contains: 50 test strips

Testing Levels: 0, 0.3, 0.5, 1, 2, 5 ppm (mg/l)

Total Test Time: approx. 20 seconds

How to Use:

  1. Dip one strip into 20ml water sample for 5 seconds.
  2. Remove and match to closest colour on colour chart.

Accurate within 5-10% of reading the colour scale. Detection limit 15ppm. Interferences: other oxidisers, like peroxide, peracetic acid.

Please note: Store in a cool, dry (20- 30°C) place and away from excess heat and direct sunlight. No MSDS required. Keep away from children and pets. Avoid contact of test areas on strips with skin & eyes, do not ingest or expose to acids.
