Joyful Hakata Urasaki Musician Clay Doll Figure Playing A Japanese Biwa, dates to 1950’s. This lovely family estate item has the Grandmother's hand written note regarding it on bottom - I like that sort of thing so left it intact and you can remove it if you like. Item is beautiful and quite detailed as you can see, but long ago suffered a repair to the head/neck area - you can see lines in photos. Stands about 8 inches tall X about 7 1/2 inches wide and is about 5 1/4 inches in depth. Despite the repair, item is in good condition for its age and offered at a nice price! Weighs 1 pound 15.3 ounces.
