Stamp from a semi-postal set to raise funds for Hitler's Winter Relief charity (Winterhilfswerk).

The theme for the set was landscapes and alpine flowers in "Ostmark" (the Nazis' new name for Austria after its absorption into the Reich).

Stamp depicts:

Forchtenstein Castle and Silver Thistle (Carlina acaulis).

Forchtenstein Castle (Burg Forchtenstein) was built in the late Middle Ages near the municipality of Forchtenstein in northern Burgenland, Austria.
