We present a PAIR pf marine landscapes, charming scenes, one with young men swimming and diving naked, the other with fisherfolk tending boars om a small inlet dominated by a cliff-top castle; 19thC Northern-Italian School, we are unsure about the location, possibly San Remo on the Mediterranean or northern Adriatic. The paintings appear unsigned. Much attention to detail, perspective, and movement in these works, we have not identified the artist further with several painters of the period coming to mind. Presented in very good condition in later contemporary frames (glazes removed to international destinations), these paintings will look fabulous displayed.
