Stamp from a semi-postal set to raise funds for the Winter Relief charity (Winterhilfswerk).

The theme for the set was landscapes and alpine flowers in "Ostmark" (the new name for Austria after its absorption into the Reich).

Stamp depicts:

Erzberg and Alpenrose (Rhododendron ferrugineum).

The Erzberg mine is a large open-pit mine located in Eisenerz, Styria.
