Moringa oleifera, often referred to as the "miracle tree" or simply moringa, is a nutrient-rich plant native to parts of Africa and Asia. To prepare moringa tea, you'll need approximately 1-2 tsps of dried moringa leaves and about 250ml of hot water. Place the dried moringa leaves in a heatproof container, such as a teapot or a mug. Bring the water to a boil, then pour it over the dried leaves. Let the tea steep for 5-10 minutes to allow the hot water to extract the beneficial compounds from the leaves. After steeping, strain the tea to remove the moringa leaf particles, and then enjoy it warm. Moringa tea has a slightly earthy and grassy flavour with subtle herbal notes, which some may find pleasant on its own, while others may prefer to enhance its taste with a touch of honey or lemon.
