This original expressionist painting / collage was done by Edmonds, Washington artist Cheryl Waale. The painting is on canvas board and measures 9" x 7". It is suspended in a nicely crafted wooden "box" frame that measures 12" x 10" x 1 3/4". The painting is signed by Cheryl in the lower right and on the back of the frame. The painting and frame are in great condition.
Cheryl says that she is an "expressionist painter who likes to take ordinary subjects and turn them into unusual, extra-ordinary works -- rich in composition, color and texture." In this piece Cheryl has integrated a street map of Seattle into her painting.
