I was getting fogging on my photos and realised its got to be the film window seal as there are no other seals on the R8

This 3mm thick foam part blocks all light from entering the camera ( and you will not be able to read the film can).

remove old light seal

clean the window

apply the self adhesive seal

press firmly, youre good to go!
