Rare 1884 Fish Engraving

A rare authentic original antique copper plate engraving print published in The Fisheries and Fishery Industries of the United States, 1884 Section I, Natural History of Useful Aquatic Animals by George Brown Goode.

This publication has become increasingly very rare. Each plate has the common name (although common names have changed over time), species (species names have changes as well over time) and illustration notes (including illustrator, collection location, etc.)

Excellent condition (see listing photograph for details), Please note: The photographs are good; however, do not pick up the fine details and often cast some bright spots onto the prints.

Approx. 11.5 x 9 inches.

These are original antiques NOT a reproduction. All items are shipped in acid free shrink wrapped and backing.
