Offered for sale is this nice picture postcard from 1907 with much going for it.  The front depicts a statue of patriot Nathan Hale located in City Hall Park in New York.  It was mailed to a woman in New York City.  The card is franked with a 1c John Smith commemorative, Scott 328.  The postmark is a flag cancel from Glendale Station of Brooklyn, New York.  Glendale Station operated only from 1906 to 1908, so is a DPO.  This will make a nice item for a collector of flag cancels or New York postal history.
