The light carving axe is forged from high carbon spring steel. The cutting edge is 4.3inches long and the head weight is right at 1lb. The thin bit allows the 32° grind to cut really deep and be an excellent carver without needing to be heavy and cause excess fatigue. 

Axe head features hand forged high carbon steel with antique finish and polished edges.
