CONDITION STANDARDS - Applies to all pieces, but doesn't consider tarnish, which can be removed with polish. Even factory sealed pieces often have some tarnish. 

WELL USED: Factory finish gone, piece may have dings and deep scratches
GOOD: Factory finish may be diminished, scratches from normal use, no deep scratches or dings unless noted, any steel blades may have some scratches
VERY GOOD: Retains most or all of the original factory finish and has no deep scratches or nicks unless noted, but has numerous and noticeable light scratches from normal use
EXCELLENT: Has most or all of its original factory finish, minor scratches from normal use but not distracting, any steel blades have little if any wear and are clean and mostly free of scratches 

NEARLY NEW: Full factory finish, only the most minor scratches from very limited use, any steel blades are free of wear and scratches
UNUSED: Perfect condition, though even if in original factory bags pieces may have some tarnish
