Antique Putnam Dye Cabinet Countertop Display w/ dye packets.   Display cabinet was made in 1931 by Monroe Chemical Co., Quincy, IL.  This  Putnam Dye Cabinet is a beautiful piece of antique advertising and a classic point of sale countertop display case.  A solid wood cabinet with a tin lithograph on both sides which feature striking graphics.  The image depicts a Revolutionary War scene showing American General Ira Putnam being pursued by British Red Coats.  Cabinet interior is in excellent condition with all wooden pigeon hole compartments solid and free of damage.  Even the individual color labels only show visible wear consistent with its age.  Approximately 100 Dye packets are included.   The cabinet is in remarkable condition and a truly rare find.  The vast majority of these cabinets did not survive years of use doubling as a general store display piece and product storage.  Dye packets were easily damaged by customers  resulting in significant colored staining of the case itself.  Refer to photos for condition and feel free to email with any questions.
