First edition of 1879 of this historical pamphlet about the captain Erasmo Stefano da Narni known as Gattamelata (1370 Narni - 1443 Padova) written by Marchese Giovanni Eroli.
Inside there are 10 plates covered by tissue paper, the plate in the frontspice is the portrait of Gattamelata in Galleria Pitti in Florence.
Together with the volume two pages of introduction to the work with indication that the same volume is sold by the author in Narni and that the sum was for poor people. Price 10 lire.
Dedication to the first blank page of the author to the scholar of Dante Agostino Bartolini (1839-1916) signed by Eroli.
