Broderie anglaise (French for "English embroidery") is a whitework needlework technique incorporating features of embroidery, cutwork and needle lace that became associated with England, due to its popularity here in the 19th century. Quilted with our 70g (2oz) polyester wadding and lined with our ES005 45" polycotton backing. This fabric is ideal for the use in most quilted projects, jackets, pet bedding, equestrian clothing etc.
