Collectible "Hawaiian Fish Kihikihi #1".  Mailed 1913

Island Curio Company was located in downtown Honolulu. Around 1910 they published 36 different Fish postcards. The series documented fish found in Hawaii often by inclusion of their Hawaiian name.

The series is featured on page 135 of Keith Steiner's book mentioned below. Series numbers 1-38. Two crab complete the collection #37 & 38.

Keith Steiner's book; Hawaii's early Territorial Days illustrates all the known postcards in this collection. It is a valuable resource for anyone collecting Hawaii postcards from this era.
