Lovely real leather vintage handbag.
It states on the inside label that it is "real leather made especially for A. Jones and sons".
If used as a clutch bag, then it might be regarded by some as quite a large bag size for this purpose (see image 10 with the dimensions).
It seems to me that the detachable strap is quite long (there is a drop of 48 cm as can be seen in image image 12). So if the strap is slung over the shoulder then bag would come down to perhaps to the thigh on an average woman. This may or may not differ from the current fashion.
There is a black stitch on the bottom of the handbag (mentioned in the condition description above and shown the last image). I suspect that this was done during the manufacturing process and is a normal part of the process. However, I am not familiar at all with handbags. So, I cannot guarantee that this was not something that was done later in order to repair a broken or loose stitch.
