This fur cape is a fabulous genuine black mountain goat fur cape made by Aronson Furs of Troy, New York. I think the size is a large, but as you can see in the photos, it looks wonderful on a smaller person also.  

The lining is in great condition. The only lining issue is the small hole visible by the label. There is also a part of the fur by the bottom of the right side of the collar that will need some stitching up. This is where the top hook has pulled off and has pulled the fur apart. The bottom hook needs to be re-attached also. The hooks are still attached, but coming off.   

The fur itself is in wonderful condition. There is no shedding at all. I'm calling the color black, but it could be a very, very dark brown.

I love this style of fur jacket. It looks great dressed up or with jeans. It's very versatile and very trendy.
