A factory original piece that was part of the owners pouch set when new. Now some 47 years old this owners manual is best described as: “experienced “. It is wonderfully authentic, not always beautiful but dedicated and has earned the patina. If you are looking for a Concours manual, this isn’t your dance partner. There’s a lot to love her but a lot that you have to accept with a nearly half century piece that has passed through numerous owners and was meant as the “go to “ reference guide for the owner. Here’s the good: It’s complete with outstanding foldouts. All the foldouts are in excellent condition, look at that wiring diagram as an example. On the others, note how beautifully vibrant the colors still are. Here’s the not so good: the crease across the cover, the brittle cover was highly susceptible to cracks or creases from folding by being jammed into an overstuffed pouch and shoved into the boot. There’s maintenance notes written in the back, personally I love the authenticity and patina of these. Would be nicer without any written documentation inside however. The edges and corners are pretty well worn from lots of handling over the years. Lastly, on the first page a section has been scrapped clean. It looks like whiteout but it’s not. I’m assuming that a former owners name was there and someone scrapped it out. Overall I’m going to give this one a 6/10, and call it average for condition.
