Post 1938 Porto Portugal 833 Silver Hearts Theme 5.5”X 3.875”X1.5”H - 117 Grams.

We are not sure what this might have originally been designed for but we can think of a lot of uses for it on the table or around the house. Could be used with creamer and sugar to hold packets of sweet n low or other non sugar sweeteners. Could be used as a candy dish or used for potpourri.

The stamp marks, along with help deciphering them, led us to Portugal as only a few countries use .833 silver as their standard. If you look closely at the larger mark, you will see an 833 purity stamp. The second mark indicates it’s from the city of Porto. No idea on maker unfortunately.

Please note both the heart theme around the edge and the feet which we thought really gives the entire piece a certain enrichment.

See photos and note measurements. Weight is 117 grams or 3.76 ounces (Troy).
