Vintage locking jewelry box for rings, watches, cufflinks, bracelets, earrings, necklace, trinkets, etc.

Leather over wood exterior and inner edges of box and cover.
Fine Italian leather with gold decoration.
Cushioned suede lining the interior.
Bottom of box is covered with wavy ( watered ) moire fabric.
Circa midcentury 1900s.

2.25" height when the box is closed.

Good condition, with some wear.
General wear, rubbing and scuffing to the surface of the leather, and some wear at the corners.
Worn spots at the corners of the moire fabric on the underside of the box.
A little wear to the suede which covers the underside of the cover.
The suede interior is otherwise good.
The key is good and the lock still functions well.
The brass hinge is very good.
All is nice and tight.
