LEHMANN DANCING SAILOR c.1910 TIN LITHO TOY GERMANY WIND UP TINPLATE w/ BOX

In extremely excellent condition Lehmann Dancing Sailor. "Columbia" is inscribed on his hat's brim meaning that he represents a sailor of the Columbia. Other variations of this toy exist with different ships inscriptions to the brim. Made in Germany between 1907 and 1945. It is actioned by a wind mechanism that makes sailor waddle around as if dancing. Toy is about 7 1/2 inches tall. Wind up mechanism good working. Very clean face with minor wear to it. No repaints or touchups. All original pieces. Clothes show some filth and some small rips to back of shirt.
