The rash of “newbies” wanting to cash in on the “repair myself” craze is admirable but not without peril.  These foils and the techniques needed to incorporate this product onto a repair PCB require PATIENCE, SKILL, KNOWLEDGE and proper EQUIPMENT. This product is NOT for the DIY “one timer” or “first timer”.  These pads ARE NOT “peel and stick”.  Adhesives would introduce an unwanted contaminate to the surface of the PCB.  Surface tension helps in positioning (along with the appropriate liquid/gel solder flux), the use of fine tipped tweezers, stereoscopic microscopes and EXTREME patience - are all valuable tools necessary for success with this product.

We make these repair foils available and affordable to the general public because we USE these in our everyday repair and production facilities.  We could easily avoid the hassle of returns by simply NOT offering these items for public sale.  That’s not the eBay way. Understanding the use (and misuse) of such a product is essential if we are to continue to provide professional grade materials to BOTH the professional and non-professional repairman.  If you haven’t any experience in using this type of product – DO NOT BUY!!!
