PROVENANCE:
i went to a wireless tradeshow in Las Vegas in 2007 - a colleague at Sprint was working with a company called Moderati, who was a wireless content provider that created some custom ringtones from hip-hop legends like Lil' Jon, Pitbull, Ying Yang Twins and Daddy Yankee. 

well, Lil' Jon himself was promoting his brand new beverage called "Crunk!!! Energy Drink" and he personally gave her a can of it as a gift that night. i don't think it was even launched in any retail outlets yet. my colleague knew i was a Lil' Jon 'fan', because of the unforgettable Dave Chappelle "Yeahhhhhhh!!!! What???!!!! Okayyyyyyy!" skit with Lil' Jon & Oprah Winfrey blowing up around that time, and she gave me the can that night at the casino where Moderati was having an industry party. this is also where i partied with my boy Busta Rhymes for the second time (but more about that some other day lol). 

i've managed to hold onto and mostly protect the unopened can (you'll notice a few little dings, scratches & dents) since i got it some 15 years ago, and i'm finally offering it up to someone looking for something super rare and quite special & unique as far as hip-hop memorabilia goes - i'm not sure there is another one out there like this in its unopened state, let alone directly from Lil' Jon himself!
