You are viewing a unique early mid century hand painted Orchid design fine china oval platter or tray. You mostly see round plates in this pattern, not many oval shapes. This gem was made by Stouffer Fine China of Chicago, Illinois. Stouffer was in operation from 1905-1952 and they made high quality hand painted fine china. Gold painted items were done in 22 karat gold and this item is signed by Artist K. Swartz. The maker's mark on this item was used 1938-1946. It is in excellent pre-owned condition with no chips, breaks or cracks and measures approximately 9” long and 6” wide.
