A compact mobile radio that will fit in most modern cars, 20W power output to ensure a solid signal to your local repeater or node.

If you're not familiar with DMR, then this is a great starting point. Many Motorola or other oem chinese brand DMR radios have complicated programming or menu structures. Often designed for fit and forget commercial applications. Where as for amateur use and experimental purposes this unit allows you to tinker without needing to buy expensive programming software or have a degree in computer programming. 

Great audio output and clarity on both DMR and Analogue. 

The Kydera has been well received in the amateur space it's dual band and has tons of features. Well built and chunky design gives you confidence that it will last and survive daily use. YouTube has many videos explaining the features and options.

GPS enabled with an external antenna, experimental firmware is available to enable an APRS function - message me for information.
