Description
This is a circulated, "Diez" or 10 “Australes” new value overprint on a 10,000 “Pesos Argentinos” note from the "Banco Central de la Republica Argentina". These overprinted “Pesos Argentinos” notes were only issued in 1985.
Argentina had been printing 1,000,000,000 Pesos notes in 1983 but the highest denomination of the new 1983 “Pesos Argentinos” was 10,000. This is one of them. In 1985 they went from the “Pesos Argentinos” to the “Austral” at 1000 to 1, as this note shows. A classic example of runaway inflation.

Face: 07.519.205 C • Serie C • Blue-violet on multicolor underprint. • It pictures General Manuel Belgrano. He fought in Argentina's struggle for independence from Spain and created the flag of Argentina.

The Note: It has seen many hands and has some small edge tears and pinholes. The note will be sent in a new large currency holder that protects it. As grading is subjective, please see the pictures and judge for yourself.
