Dedicated to Ukrainian international lawyer, who took an active part in the preparation of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and many other important international legal documents, scientist, historian of law, specialist in private international law and general history of state and law, Academician of the USSR Volodymyr Mykhailovych Koretsky.

On the obverse of the coin there are: small State Emblem of Ukraine (above) and inscriptions: NATIONAL (left of the emblem), BANK OF UKRAINE (to the right of the emblem), 2 / HRYVNA (under the emblem), THE UNIVERSAL DECLARATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS (in the center); on the left - the year of coinage - 2020, under which - the logo of the Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine; at the bottom on the background of sheets of paper - hands and a judge's gavel (as a symbol of judicial decision-making).

On the reverse of the coin against the background of the globe, which symbolizes the international activity of the Ukrainian jurist V. Koretsky, his portrait and inscriptions are depicted: VOLODYMYR / KORETSKY (under the portrait), years of life 1890/1984 (to the left of the portrait), UKRAINIAN SCIENTIST (in a circle).
