Great pride is therefore taken in ensuring that our clients are fully satisfied with the service we provide and are always available to assist throughout the ordering and delivery process with contact information provided on our website.

Packaging Process
We are a small team and take great pride in ensuring that all out items are packed well and sent using appropriate strong packing materials with appropriate protection. We also believe in recycling packing materials where-ever possible and where the condition of the packing materials is suitable for this.

All items are wrapped in specialist protective tissue paper protecting the surface of all antiques and collectibles and then in layers of bubble wrap secured with FRAGILE marked tape. This ensures that where overseas shipments may be subjected to inspection the handlers are made aware of the potentially fragile nature of the item/s being shipped.

All items, where appropriate are surrounded using appropriate soft fill chips, biodegradable whereever possible, and help make the contents safe and free from impact risk.

The majority of items are enclosed inside a heavy-duty, double-walled cardboard box or other appropriate form of secure shipping depending on what the item requires.

All edges of boxes are fully taped and all are finished with FRAGILE warning tape.

Multiple Items
On occasions clients may wish to order a number of items being delivered to the same address and we will ensure that these are packed into a single or multiple boxes ensuring that the safety of the contents is not jeopardised. Any multiples will always be shipped together and we remain versatile to ensure that any special shipping arrangements are met where ever possible. Many of our clients request shipping delays which we are able to provide.

Dispatch & Couriers
We ship using both Royal Mail and DHL. All items are shipped are fully tracked and signed for whatever the destination, domestic or international, and have been using these shipping options for more than a decade without issue.

Collections are made daily during the week (excluding public holidays) from our designated dispatch hub and where-ever possible we will endeavour to ship items next business day. If this is not possible we will ensure that the client is advised of when to expect dispatch of their item. We ship domestic items for next day delivery and have found that realistically delivery will usually take up to five days internationally, although occasionally delayed by customs clearance. We always expedite using the most efficient and effective service.

Shipping Cost Estimates
Unless we advise otherwise, we do always try to incorporate the shipping costs within the price of the items we offer for sale.

Clients need to be aware that we do not cover or advise on any local import taxes or related handling fees and it is the clients responsibility to be aware of what such costs might be. All items are declared at their full value and are required to do so for insurance purposes.

Post shipping Client Care
Once an order has been dispatched you will receive notification of the courier or shipping method and will be provided with tracking details. We will also pass on contact telephone numbers and where-ever possible email addresses to allow the courier to contact you.

Being able to share one’s passion is the dream!

As a young boy Frank McKenzie would spend his time visiting local ‘Jumble Sales’ and foraging landfill on old railway lines for abandoned treasures. At the age of 9 he was already using his pocket money to buy and sell items. Since then and as an entrepreneur and accountant he has had a diverse and interesting career. In the 1990’s he revisited his passion and started to buy art and antiques as part of his pension strategy. With the emergence of the Internet this has since evolved into a thriving business.

In 2009 he co-founded Xupes.com with his oldest son Joseph, an online portal selling second hand luxury branded timepieces alongside his art and antique collection. This has since expanded to incorporate branded handbags and jewellery.

In 2021 the watch business was acquired by German online watch platform Chrono24 and Frank continued to run Xupes but with handbags and jewellery. He founded McKenzie Art & Design to handle the sale of his vast collection.
