Amazing unusual pair of old hand crafted dolls A man / male doll and woman / female doll Presumed to be of European / possibly Scandinavian origin due to woman's braided blonde hair and other dolls of this type Hand carved and painted wood  The couple wears hand sewn and embellished elegant embroidered silk costumes with matching hats and black lace neck scarves Their costumes suggest they are upper class / well-to-do Jointed at shoulders, firm (not wood) body, non jointed legs Woman's blonde hair is braided and wrapped on her head Woman measures approx 11" tall, man measures approx 12" tall No odors, dolls and costumes in very good condition, some fading to costumes, some sequins missing (two fell off and will be included) Estate sale find Will display nicely Visit our Cool Vintage Finds Store on eBay for more dolls and other great finds
