Description

This is a lightly used, polymer plastic, "Twenty Dollars" note from Australia. The first note of this design, it was issued in 1994 and carries the signatures of B. W. Fraser and E. A. Evans. It has now been replaced by a new design.
 
Australia changed from the old Pound, Shillings and Pence system to the Dollar in 1966. The first "Polymer" banknotes were issued in 1988 and now all Australian notes are made of polymer. Australia was the first country to develop and use polymer banknotes.

Face: Black and red on pale green. • Mary Reibey. In 1791 when she was 15 years-old, she was arrested for stealing a horse. At the time, she was disguised as a boy. Sentenced to seven years' transportation, she arrived in Sydney, Australia. Back: BE 94272601 • The first two digits are the year issued. • John Flynn and a Biplane. He was a Presbyterian minister who founded the first air ambulance service.
 
The Note: A lightly circulated note. It has been folded but has no creases. It has no edge or body tears and no pinholes. The note will be sent in a new currency holder that protects it. As grading is subjective, please see the pictures and judge for yourself.
