This antique brass ship compass likely dates to the World War Two era and is makers marked W.D. Outwin-Flinders of Lowestoft in England. As  you can see the glass cover is cracked as well as a slight bend to the outer ring and if it had liquid at one time its no longer there. The compass itself measures about 9" in diameter with the ring diameter about 12".
